Cupcake In The Oven - Roy and Mel Maternity

Ok so we have reached the second set of Zimmermans. 

(see Roy's twin brother Ryan and his family here and here)

It's actually a great night for this post because it's Roy's birthday. (Ryan too - weird right?) ;)

Roy and Mel were married a couple years ago in Florida and welcomed a beautiful baby girl this past May. 

Told you...busy family, babies in April and May.

We actually planned on driving around and looking for some spring flowers but it was pretty windy and a bit chilly so we were happy to find some great spots at the community college by my house.  

We were actually headed "off campus"

when I looked up and said "That would be cute." 

and Mel yelled from the back "BUMP!" 

So we hopped back out for a few shots.

Name's all picked out!

Blessed Lil' Cupcake - Colton

So the little man from my very first post was baptized this past April. 

He was, as always, an absolute angel and even had an outfit change after the ceremony. 

Little baby shoes and a tie pin that he wore that was his great grandfathers.

Fresh Out of The Oven - Cole

As promised here's .....

I had barely uploaded the pictures from their Maternity Session when Cole 

decided to make his arrival in early April.

Cupcake In The Oven - Zimmerman Family Maternity

Ok so by now you are probably thinking (after FOUR newborn posts and ZERO maternity posts)

 "What in the h-e-double hockey sticks is up with Katy's friends ?!

Does the stork bring their lil bundles of joy?!?" 

Although most, if not all of them, would have preferred 

that method of delivery (pun very much intended), it is not so. 

Case in point - the Zimmermans. Now get used to this name and these faces because this is one fertile family. Actually there are two Zimmerman Families, the dads (Ryan and Roy) are twin brothers that were in the same fraternity as my husband (Sig Ep) at Western Maryland. We have been friends with them as long as Justin and I have been together (11 years -wow!). 

Ryan moved a little faster in the marriage/baby lane and about 3 years ago, Ryan and his wife Julia asked me to take some maternity pictures for them. 

Dida-little-it (that is the fast forward noise...at least according to urbandictionary.com) Go ahead, say it fast. 

See? Kinda sounds like it. Anywho...fast forward almost 

3 years and they are ready for number two! 

This is big-sister-to-be Caylin as you probably gathered from the writing in the sand. She is smart, sweet, a little bit sassy and smiles on command like a champ! She was anxiously awaiting her little brother, Cole or as she not so affectionately calls him...
